Living in the city, across a public park, golf course or near a forest preserve all pose challenges with rodents, wildlife or both. This is why Veteran Landscapes offers humane solutions to deter unwanted pests from your outdoor space.

This approach seeks to deter wildlife and rodents from entering an enclosed outdoor space enclosed with wooden fence.

Our crews excavate between 6 to 12 inches beneath the fence line, in order to ensure pests cannot re-enter by burrowing from underneath. Before the excavated soil is set back, we backfill with a layer of brick, large gravel or both to ensure nothing gets through.

After everything has been secured, our crews will ensure to restore everything. This way there is no sign of the wire mesh or the excavation.
This client requested that we secure the shallow foundation of this garage to keep rodents and skunks out from underneath it. We excavated, secured galvanized wire mesh to it and added gravel and bricks in the trench to keep them out permanently.
