About the Owner

Veteran Landscapes LLC was founded by Marine Veteran & Chicago native, Pedro A. Henriquez, Jr. Pedro served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years.

Pedro is currently a Junior at Loyola University of Chicago's School of Environmental Sustainability. His specific academic pursuit, is to obtain a degree in Environmental Science: Conservation & Restoration Ecology. Pedro is putting science based knowledge and facts behind the quality products, goods and services his company has to offer.

Nature's Power to Heal

Pedro knows first hand, that nature has the power to heal wounds and trauma not visible to the naked eye. That is why he chose a profession in the Horticultural Industry. His goal is to provide inviting gardens and landscapes that not only inspire and captivate one's interests for nature, but also provide a healing aspect for wounds not visible to most. Pedro truly believes nature has the power to listen & heal what science and traditional medicine cannot.

We have all necessary licenses for our area, and we carry individual insurance and bond requirements as necessary for each individual project we take on.

We provide landscaping products, goods and services for residential, commercial and public clients., Our specialty is in mixing non-native and native plants to make a landscape that meets your needs and fits the ecology of our area.
